The museum isn’t really that great but worth a stop. The Blackwater Wildlife refuge is better, it’s mainly a bird refuge but you can drive through it. It was only like $3 or so per car and well worth it just for the one-way drive through the marshes even if there aren't too many birds. Sometimes there're a lot of birds but when we were there was hardly any, bring binoculars. They have a great visitor center and a few stops including a boardwalk over the swamp. I don't think there's too much more down there, sort of rural. Go see Annapolis for the naval academy and nice upscale shops, crabs and boats. Chestertown is historic but when I drove through there coming back it was sort of deserted.
Q:
Is there a fee to enter the park
A:
Hello! There is no fee to enter the park.
Q:
sunday hours?
A:
I agree with the other respondents. They are open daily from about 0900 to 1700. May also depend on daylight and weather conditions. It is kind of remote.
