Austin police are searching for a man they say is responsible for an aggravated robbery at a Dollar General on Menchaca Road.

After an initial car chase that involved multiple law enforcement agencies, Davis said, the man stole a car at a Northwest Austin Starbucks from a woman waiting to go to work. He then stole another car at an H-E-B grocery store down the road.

AUSTIN, Texas — Police have identified a body found with obvious signs of trauma in northeast Austin. According to police, 23-year-old Shelby Wayne Cody was shot to death on Thursday, Nov. 7, near U.S. 290 and Calidad Drive.

The Austin Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a missing man who was last seen Sunday night. Police said the man has Down syndrome.
