Israel and Hezbollah are exchanging hundreds of cross-border strikes in the wake of the shocking explosions of wireless devices across Lebanon. Thirty-one people were killed and 68 were injured in Israel's strike on Friday in Beirut, the Lebanese Health Ministry said Saturday.

Hezbollah confirmed Ibrahim Aqil and Ahmed Wahbi's deaths after Israel said the targeted strike on the Radwan forces also killed "other senior" figures.

The Hezbollah militia reported launching an attack on an industrial complex and an Israeli military base near the port city of Haifa in northern Israel early on Sunday, while the Israeli army said it launched attacks on Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon.

Two Hezbollah leaders were among those killed in an Israeli airstrike on a Beirut suburb , Israel’s military said Saturday, as Lebanon raised the death toll from the attack to 37, including women and children.

At least 31 people, including three children, were killed in Friday's strike, Lebanese officials said. Israel's military said a top Hezbollah commander was among the dead.
