Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs has proven to be a home-run draft pick for general manager Brad Holmes, but as the Alabama product recently revealed, he did not expect to end up in Detroit at No.

In 2023, the then-rookie ran for 945 yards and 10 touchdowns—good enough to reach the Pro Bowl. In 2024, Gibbs has amassed 727 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground for an 8-1 Lions team.
