Israel has launched a new wave of airstrikes targeting Hezbollah in Lebanon, with residents in some areas being warned to evacuate.

The Israeli military on Monday warned civilians in southern Lebanon to move away from Hezbollah position and said it was intensifying attacks on its neighbor as the region lurched closer to an all-out war.

Israeli attacks since Friday have killed dozens in Lebanon, including a veteran Hezbollah commander. Hezbollah responded with more than 100 missile attacks in northern Israel early Sunday, sending hundreds of thousands of Israelis into air raid shelters.
