Spain's Carlos Alcaraz seals a straight set win against American Taylor Fritz to lead Team Europe to a 13-11 victory at the 2024 Laver Cup in Berlin.

Frances Tiafoe has put Team World ahead at the Laver Cup with a victory over Daniil Medvedev. The American won 3-6, 6-4 and 10-5 in the third set which is a match tiebreaker.

Ben Shelton and Alejandro Tabilo defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas and Casper Ruud 6-1 6-2 on Saturday to hand Team World an 8-4 lead over Team Europe at the end of day two of the Laver Cup.

After Friday’s matches were split evenly, Team World’s Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz beat top-five opponents and Ben Shelton and Alejandro Tabilo crushed Team Europe’s Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-1,

Four-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz overcame Taylor Fritz in the deciding match as Team Europe rallied to beat Team World 13-11 and win the Laver Cup.

Team Europe’s players will need to play their best on the final day in order not to be defeated by Team World in this edition of the Laver Cup. Team Europe players will need to win three of four matches to lift the trophy, while Team World only needs two wins.

Carlos Alcaraz beat Taylor Fritz 6-2 7-5 to hand Team Europe a 13-11 victory over Team World in the Laver Cup in the last session of the tournament on Sunday.
