Fox NFL Sunday” host Michael Strahan has drawn scrutiny for standing with his hands folded in front of him — as opposed to over his heart — during the national anthem on Sunday.

Though Strahan wasn't in strict adherence to the U.S. Flag Code, he presented himself as a respectful American citizen in every other way.

"The only statement that should be made and that I want to make is that I love the military, I’ve always loved the military, and I will always love the military," he said in a social media post.
