The company behind the recall, HP Hood LLC, is recalling all 96-ounce containers of Lactaid whole milk, fat-free milk, 2% milk, 1% milk, and 2% Calcium Enriched milk shipped to retailers and wholesalers between 09/05/24 and 09/18/24.

HP Hood, the manufacturer of Lactaid Milk products, along with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), issued a voluntary recall of 96-ounce containers of Lactaid Milk that may contain “trace amounts of almond, which is not listed on the label,” the FDA said in a Sept. 20 announcement.

The FDA announced the recall on Sept. 20, 2024, which affects gallons of Lactaid Milk made by HP Hood LLC and sold in more than two dozen states.
