The city of Richmond Hill is pulling together as many resources as possible to monitor flooding from the Ogeechee River in various neighborhoods.

Some neighborhoods are seeing water creep into yards and streets coming from the Ogeechee River. On Mulberry Drive in Richmond Hill, a few lawns close to the neighborhood’s entrance are filled with water.

The city of Richmond Hill is warning residents about the potential for flooding as the Ogeechee River is expected to crest 7.5 inches Wednesday. The city said it does not expect residents to experience flooding in their homes but may see a pool of water develop in their yards and is encouraging everyone to move their vehicles away from low-lying areas.
